Cathryn Mattson of Greenwich was appointed chief operating officer at TIGER 21, New York City, a peer-to-peer network of high-net-worth investors. Most recently, Mattson was COO of Women’s World Banking, New York City. Prior to that, she was a group chair at The Executive Committee, based in Connecticut. From 1983 to 2003, she worked at Unilever Bestfoods, culminating as senior director, strategy and business intelligence for Unilever’s North American retail food business, based in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. Mattson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from Tufts University, a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in English from Converse College.

James Hallock of Westport was appointed managing director of restructuring finance for the Northeast at GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending, Norwalk, a provider of asset-based, cash flow, structured finance and other financial solutions. Hallock has more than 25 years of finance experience, most recently as manager of debtor-in-possession financing in the distressed assets group at Credit Agricole’s Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank, New York City, and previously as a director in the restructuring services group at KPMG L.L.P., New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Skidmore College, a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Master of Science degree in taxation from Fordham University.

Robert Wonneberger of Milford joined the Southport office of the law firm Pepe & Hazard L.L.P. as a partner. Since 1999, Wonneberger was a partner in the Stamford office of the law firm Shipman & Goodwin L.L.P. Prior to that, he was a partner in the Bridgeport office of the law firm Pullman & Comley L.L.C. Wonneberger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Hilarie S. Siles of North Salem, N.Y., was promoted to a vice president in the Stamford office of CB Richard Ellis, a commercial real estate services company. Since 1996, Siles was a senior associate. She joined the company in 1991. Siles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from New York University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the New York Law School.

Michael Keady of Darien was appointed vice president, sales manager at Darien Rowayton Bank, Darien. Keady has 20 years of retail banking experience, most recently as a vice president and branch manager at local banks in Fairfield County. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Davis.

Robinson & Cole L.L.P., a law firm, announced the following appointments.

April F. Condon of Riverside joined the firm as a counsel. Condon has been practicing real estate law since 1998. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Georgetown University.

Richard J. Tannenbaum of Stamford joined the firm as a counsel. Most recently, Tannenbaum was a shareholder at a California-based law firm. Prior to that, he was a vice president and assistant general counsel at MetLife Capital Corp. Tannenbaum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Media Storm L.L.C., South Norwalk, a strategic media agency, announced the following appointments.

Jamie Melecio of Stamford joined the agency as media director. Since 1996, Melecio worked at BBDO NY/OMD NY, New York City, most recently as a strategy director and previously as an associate director of strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications from Indiana University.

Julie Diffenbach of New York City joined the agency as interactive media supervisor. Most recently, Diffenbach was a freelance media supervisor in the New York City office of Wieden + Kennedy. Prior to that, she was a media supervisor at Deutsch Inc., New York City. Diffenbach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Giovanna Lorch of Stamford joined the agency as senior strategic buyer for radio. Since 1998, Lorch was senior local broadcast negotiator at ICON International Inc., Stamford. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Southern Connecticut State University.

Creative Concepts Consultants, Fairfield, an agency focusing on public relations, marketing and new media practices, announced the following appointments.

Erin Hamilton of Fairfield joined the agency as director of public relations. Most recently, Hamilton was manager of global communications for the Origins brand at Estee Lauder Companies Inc., New York City. Prior to that, she was a senior account executive at Manning, Selvage & Lee, New York City. Before that, she was an account executive at Marina Maher Communications, New York City. Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in public relations from Syracuse University.

Julie O’Neill Dolan of Westfield, N.J., joined the agency as director of interactive public relations. Most recently, Dolan was the publicist for Golftini, Westfield. Prior to that, she was a senior credit analyst at TMC, San Francisco. Dolan holds Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Denison University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.

Party Rental Ltd., an event equipment rental company, announced the following appointments in its Greenwich division.

Katrina L. Otto of Danbury joined the division as customer relationship manager. Most recently, Otto was a rental consultant at Stamford Tent & Party Rental, Stamford. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Western Connecticut State University.

Lorraine Arguto of Shelton joined the division as senior customer service representative. Most recently, Arguto was a rental consultant at Stamford Tent & Party Rental, Stamford. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut.

Michael Ettlemyer of Port Chester, N.Y., was appointed an account supervisor at Environics Communications Inc., Stamford, a public relations agency. Most recently, Ettlemyer was public relations manager for the Americas division at GE Money, Stamford. Prior to that, he was a senior account executive at Robert Marston and Associates, New York City. Ettlemyer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Susquehanna University.
